I've had better luck now that I perform my CCIP drops better. I've also done the AUTO release with decent effect on target for Mission 2. I try to remember to use PRECISE mode in HSI as I've seen a YT video that this can increase bombing accuracy. I've been struggling with Mission 5 after several attempts. Maybe the newly announced v2 with changes in MSN 5 will make it easier to complete. Maybe v2 will also say the helos are KA-50s instead of Mi-24s. I have yet to see a MI-24 on the map.

I've flown mission 1 and 2 a few times now and I'm not having much luck with the cluster bombs. Are cluster bombs still limited 1500 ft with the VT fuse? In mission 1, I've dropped the cluster bombs will little to no effect. I noticed the last time I flew that the road with the convoy next to the lake is +1600 ft ASL. Do cluster bombs explode/disperse AGL or ASL? I've done the cluster bomb training mission a few times and I can get the bombs on target from a high altitude but with the low cloud deck, trying to hit the convoy in a 25-30 deg dive isn't working out. Maybe I missed a break in the clouds that would allow this attack profile. I had similar bad luck in mission 2. I even set the HSI to use GPS instead of AINS in hopes of getting a little more precision but I'm just not getting the effect, if any at all, on target that I expect
