  1. By "the speed" I meant that number in the upper left corner on Su-33 HUD.
  2. Ah yes, totally forgot about that old post, sorry about that. Watched again few videos on YouTube, of people doing the a/a refueling, and noticed the same behavior, so the problem is definitely with me. Need more practice, I guess.
  3. Hi, I have been trying to learn air to air refueling for quite some time, but this is what happens every time: - I get close to the tanker - they extended the basket - I get close enough to connect - and suddenly, just when i am about to get hooked to the basket, the tanker slows down exactly 4 km/h or 4 kn/h depends on the plane - that's just enough to make me overshoot and can't make connection This happens every time, I tried Su-33 and F/A-18, same thing. I am trying all this on DCS latest beta. Am i setting my practice missions wrong, or flying the plane wrong ... I really don't have a clue what is happening. If somebody had a similar experience any advice and/or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ben
  4. Hi, Is there a way to bind Chaff/Flare Programs directly to a keyboard/joystick key? Or we have to figure out a combination of keys to press that will get us quickly through the MFD screens until we get to the one on which programs can be changed. I mean, it's obvious, we can't be using mouse to click on MFD buttons searching for the C/F programs while in the middle of a dog fight, or something ... Thanks guys. Ben.
  5. Hey Kappi, It was SP, and I later tried to do the same in the DCS stable build, same behavior. Never saw this before in any of the videos on YouTube ... not sure now is there something wrong with my settings or something ...
  6. Hi, Is Su-33 air refueling broken after this newest open beta update on Dec 20th 2019 or am I doing something wrong? The moment I make contact with the fueling boom (or how do you call that long hose hanging behind the tanker) and get the message that the fuel is flowing, the tanker decreases it's speed by 4km/h, just enough to break the contact. Then it increases the speed back to the original settings, but every time i am close to get hooked up, it decreases it again ... it goes like that back and forth ... it's like the tanker is trying to get rid of me or something ... I am using Autothrottle to match the speed with the tanker but the tanker is constantly changing it's speed. Thank you for the advice, Ben
