So, does that mean the others who are having the same glitching and stuttering are also using WinXP? My framerates are 60+ fps almost all the time - the problem is not low fps. Is there not a dev here who can identify why this pausing and stuttering exists on some PC's?

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? It is about to cause me to uninstall both FC2 and BS. Very frustrating indeed. I've tried everything - name it, I've tried it. I have a 260GTX C2D@3.16Ghz 4GB memory WinXP 32bit. All other games smooth as silk. It would be nice to find a magic cure - is there a way to set the mode to the old DX8 settings like original LOMAC? It was smooth.

Well of course I did do that multiple times (including holding shift while pressing pause) - I did mention I could fly the A10 & F15 (which also requires hitting pause)...correct? Anyway, I just discovered the fix to my problem. Apparently, after making control adjustments, saving that to a standard profile, then applying that standard profile to all aircraft - causes some of the planes to have an empty list for their control assignments. Fortunately I was able to save the Mig29 list (which was still populated) and apply it to the rest of the Russian jets.

Very odd...I can fly the A10 and F15 just fine; starting a Russian jet the screen is just a frozen image (with the press 'pause to start' message). I can alt-tab out and end the game, but this happens consistently. I've only had FC2 a couple of days, but early on I do not think this was happening. Anyone else seen / know of a fix? Thanks
