  1. yeah maybe just bad luck. Still debating with myself if should try one more. Funny enough the dead pixel is most noticable in light envoirements. Maybe also "just" a Stuck Pixel. It is red in white Background.
  2. well yesterday I noticed a dead pixel in the center of the left screen. I am quite sure it was not there from day one. But now it is, and therefore the Reverb is going back. Mura is best described as looking through a dirty window. But i tried not to focus on it yesterday and have to say just as someone answered above, if you choose to enjoy the experience the Mura is ignored quite fast. After that I was almost there to decide to keep it and then noticed the dead pixel... game over :( I also noticed that I should have given the Index more chance. (I send it back 1 day after receiving so did not test much) Turns out it is quite important to adjust Steam VR IPD in order to get the world scale right. I did this with the reverb but not with the index (as it has manual IPD i thought its not necessary). And in assetto corsa I noticed yesterday that in the Index the worldscale was way too big. In the reverb it was spot on after adjusting IPD in WMR and Steam VR. At the moment I do not know what to do... Maybe go triple screen :( But racing with the reverb was the most fun I had with any headset or TV so far. I am just always unlucky when it comes to tech i want :(
  3. Hello Guys, I am new here and bisically only here because of the reverb thread. I usually do Sim racing in Iracing and Assetto corsa and from time to time some X-Plane. So I have the reverb at home since Tuesday and after initial problems that were fixed by using a different Displayport on the 1080Ti it runs quite well. Only gripe I have so far is the quite prominent Mura. It is only visible on light backgrounds and also only if you focus on it. In X-Plane flying at daytime I can notice it when looking out the window. It can be destracting at times. Today I will test with my racing sims. Yesterday I played all the steam VR Tech demos like The Lab and could not see any Mura anymore as it is more dark envoirements. It was actually real fun. So far I tested the Rift S, Index and now reverb and overall I like the reverb the most. Index resolution is So-So with bad God Rays. Had only one basestation because of price so could not test the controller tracking but will be the best possible I guess. Rift S is not good enough for my expectations. Except good tracking. The Reverb ticks almost all boxes. If this thing had manual IPD and no Mura it would be so nice. Of course WMR tracking lacks behind but for my needs it seems enough. Now I wonder if I should resend and reorder it in order to maybe minimize Mura. (But possibly risk dead pixels or anything) Because other than that I really like it and could not go back to another resolution. Maybe I am also just too picky. But the thought there might be reverbs free from mura drives me nuts :) Any expereinces from fellow reverb owners in terms of Mura would be highly appreciated.
