  2. :megalol: yes i know but its a cool tank. i drive it at work and its fast and very agile and you can swim with this car.thats one point why the body looks a lil bit ugly. This tank exist in BS atm. but in BS the model looks really bad :thumbdown: its only a green box with 6 wheels. so i think its possible to replace the BS model because it still exist. or not possible? ED :helpsmilie:
  3. I have finished the model now.Here are some new pics: Now i will create the weapon "MG3" and add it to the TPZ and after i will create a new texture design with dust and scratches and maybe i will add some mor details. I hope you all like this model

  5. Thx.No I use 3ds Max 2010 with the Design VIZ Mentalray plugin. And sometimes i use Vray for realistic textures
  6. Hi @ all. THis is my new 3D Model for BS. This is the new version of the TPZ the " TPZ 1A8 " its the german desert-version for Afghanistan.Its an APC. Its not finished yet.I have to add some details in front of the APC. But i think in 2-3 days i finish everything. I hope you like my work. Here some pics:

  8. yes its possible. -> Map parameters rollout -> quick planar map -> use freeform mode transform tools to change the position of the clusters to get an excact match with the texture -> check your work in the viewport, and render if you like
  9. yes u can change the skin in 3ds max directly on the 3d model.its possible but imo its easier to change it in photoshop. in 3ds max: you can create UVW clusters and connect them with texture maps. the fuselage geometry that is planar-mapped with the underlying area of the bitmap texture. (UVW clusters) after u can chanche this with photoshop (colors...) like the other members who create new aircraft skins. sry for my english. in german i could explain it better ;) --> The Unwrap UVW modifier is a powerful tool for applying complex mapping to your objects. so u can see in 3ds max if u changed the skin of your 3d model perfectly without starting the game

  15. here is my 3D model of the "Wiesel 1 TOW". its not finished. Thats my work of the last 2 days: the original picture: my work: The Wiesel was developed for the German Army to meet a requirement for an air-transportable light armored vehicle for use by its airborne troops, as the infantry of the German Bundeswehr, especially airborne infantry, was considered unprepared to successfully fight enemy main battle tanks (MBT) in the 1970s. The requirements were that the vehicle should fit in common NATO transport planes and could eventually be air-dropped. It should be able to fight infantry as well as enemy tanks or aircraft. Porsche produced some prototypes of the future fighting vehicle for the Bundeswehr in 1975, but the Bundeswehr stopped the project in 1978 because of the lack of funds. Nevertheless Porsche did not stop development because of interest from other countries. The Wiesel was finally introduced as new weapon system for the Bundeswehr with deliveries beginning in the late 1980s. The vehicle was named Wiesel ("weasel") because of its small size and agility, which make it very difficult to detect on the battlefield. Configuration Depending on the exact configuration, the length is about 3.55 meters, the height 1.82 meters, and the width 1.82 meters. The weight is only 2.75 tons, that means it weighs less than the U.S. Humvee military light truck. The engine is a 64 kW Audi 2.1-litre diesel engine giving a top speed of 70 km/h (45 mph). The Wiesel can ford 0.5 m deep and cross a 1.2 m trench. It is manufactured by Rheinmetall AG. The chassis is made of steel armour and can resist the common 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm small arms ammunition. Air dropping the vehicle from a plane with parachutes was tested, but was not successful; four test-vehicles were destroyed. Nevertheless the Wiesel can easily be flown in by transport helicopters, a single CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter can fly in two at once, and common transport planes can carry four or more Wiesel vehicles.
