Is the multiplayer version the one to get if you want to multi-crew a single AH-64D? or is that not possible?

The cargo hooked on automagically and when I landed, I got a text message saying 'thank you' etc but I didn't click any assigned button to 'unhook' as I thought it would work like the hooking on did, automagically. Looking forward to Mission 5! Interestingly, I didn't get the message from FSB Dublin after completing the artillery mission.. just seen this post - I guess I didn't wait long enough, pretty sure I was there for a few minutes circling though..

update - I used the Intercom to speak and heard a voice guide me in to hook the cargo. I dropped it off at the destination, got the confirmation text message, then flew the artillery spotting mission and scored a direct hit. All good. Now flying back home ( I think) but checked the external view and the cargo is still hanging below my helo?

I'm trying to get the smoke to appear at the cargo location and when I hover above the cargo, nothing happens. I watched this video but don't see smoke or messages about cargo hooked.. This is in the latest Open Beta DCS.

I bought the AH-64D module last night and am going through the Training Missions using the latest Open Beta DCS. The Training Missions always start in GAME MODE and I don't have Game Mode active in any menus. How do I get out of this mode so that I can fly the helicopter in the Training Missions? It's impossible to control the aircraft as there is no option to assign controls for Game Mode. Thanks, Toby

Quick update for anyone interested in Syria map. On my system, it runs fine. It uses 30gb RAM at load and settles at 25gb. The odd stutter but it runs more smoothly than Marianas, admittedly I haven't tried flying in bad weather, but it looks amazing, low and fast from the cockpit of the Apache, and feels very real and immersive compared to the other maps. I don't own the Falklands map yet, so don't know what that's like.

Thank you @sirrah, really appreciate that! I did buy the AH-64D and Syria last night. I only flew around in the AH-64D for a short while but it's already got it's hooks in me! I love it like I loved the Ka-50 on release! Looks like I'll be learning this module now, so really appreciate you sharing those links.

Are there any other helo campaigns planned in Syria by anyone? I'd love to own the map but, unless I'm looking in the wrong places, there doesn't seem to be much to do there unless you fly online multiplayer?
