  1. You know I really don't care whether the AP FD is on or off, if you have a smooth touch on the controls the bird just flies super fantastic. My hat is again off to ED for this sim... I just love this helo. One thing I noticed wen I take control of her after a training presentation if she does not respect my contorl setup. The stick is precisely matched to the movement of the controls although I added a personal curve and deadspace. The play on the old Extreme 3D Pro translates perfectly to the helo and it should not. Am I or have I done something wrong? Help me out here fellas :helpsmilie:
  2. Pretty pro bro. I wanted a checklist for the procedures and damn this sim makes me feel more like I am flying Flight Simulator and using some complicated add-on :book: than a military sim. ED makes some good shat and way to go on the checklists pard.
  3. Quite nice. Response is smooth, accurate, the torque change / collective input / to expected yaw is very nice. The Flight Model is unique and interesting. I tested an engine out emergency and the sim just performs. Overall, this product is solid and what I expected from ED. Indeed, the best helo sim to date. Oldflyer2, give it a try. I played Longbow and Jane's just did it right, way they did with all their sims and too bad they don't produce anymore. But ED did this sim right too. Don't be fooled by that thing called a vertical stab in back. It won't do the same as an ordinary plane, main rotor system overpowers it, and aircraft are different period. The thing just has to be trimmed right and good to go. I would like to see a true neutral trim that allows full collective application without lateral instability requiring input correction but nice to fly something other than a plane that needs trimming. The cockpit systems from start-up to go time is fab. Also good to see some vindication from ED introducing more Soviet-block birds to the genre. :pilotfly:

  4. "Head-bob" or simulated motion of the pilot reacting to aircraft movement. Any way to turn it off?
  5. Is this confirmed? Seeing a 24 would be super awesome especially considering the last Mi-24 developed for the PC was from Digital Simulations and what they did was quite frankly fantastic for the time. I hope DCS implements the same battlefield techniques involving the dual use of the 24 as a troop transport and combat tactical vehicle.
  6. Wow, you guys at Eagle never fail to impress. Been following you guys since the days of Su-27 Flanker and I am simply impressed. I am definitely a helo fan again especially of Russian metal since the disappointing days of EECH. EECH2 is still midly disappointing because the flight model info did not receive an update although quite similar to DCS BS. I hope the next planned helo from you guys is the Ka-52 Alligator :smilewink:
