It seems like you are trying to give some advice. Unfortunately your english is unreadable.

I have to laugh when folks compare sims to real life .....or themselves or thier squad to a military unit. Comparing yourself or your results to the "airforce" , well , is beyond ridiculous and insulting intellectually to anything standing on two feet. It just reinforces the belief of many that quite a few folks take themselves way to seriously.......Time for folks to get out of moms basement and get some fresh air....

Well, you know the old saying... " There's no such thing as a bad student , only bad teachers. " That failure rate is immense. Perhaps your program is not all that you think its cracked up to be.

I flew with him long before he entered the 104th , where he displayed this knowledge and skill , plus much more....and shared it with others. I'd like to give Quick the credit others seemingly are reluctant to. Thanks for sharing Quicksilver. Keep up the good work over at Warhawks ( of which I am not a member , for those pessimists ) Eries

Thanks....i missed that reference... Thought it would have got a section of its own....... Good catch though !!! Eries

Nothing in the readme about fixing the sound engine.... What happened ?

I see the basically the same DCS servers and encounter the usual mix of unknown and known users , same as I saw since day one of the release of DCS. It's not like there was a huge amount of servers with flocks of folks in them....its never been that way. The usual dedicated servers and players are still dedicated now. Actually last weekend there were alot of servers online , more than I 've ever seen and I thought that was quite hopeful and I was pleased with the apparent resurgance of interest. But predominately what I see mostly is a bunch of folks talking about DCS , talking about flying DCS , talking about thier interest in DCS, talking about issues in DCS , talk , talk , talk..............then continually being no shows when it comes to actually flying or participating. Its the usual " All talk and no action" problem. If half the folks blabbering away would actually fly , then it'd be quite an active community. Im not sure FC 2.0 has been the actual distraction..... What does "compatibility " really mean in this case? If Im running a DCS server , will someome running FC 2.0 be able to join it? If Im running a FC 2.0 server , will some one running DCS be able to join it ? If I only have FC 2.0 and not DCS , will I be able to run FC 2.0 and join a DCS server ? or vice versa? Will you have to edit a mission in the DCS editor so that folks with FC 2.0 will have the proper aircraft slots? Will you be editing a FC 2.0 map to create ka-50 pilot slots? Superficially , it seems like there would have to be two patches , one for each game , so the the editor for each would be able to make slots for users of the other game. Mebbe not so straight forward as some may think ..... I'll never buy FC 2.0 as it isnt my thing , but it would be nice if I could host a DCS game which allowed FC 2.0 to participate in if i wished..... Just askin , thats all......... - Comrade Eries

Is this true ? Install 1.01c over a new installation of 1.00 ? I'm hoping to hear definitively from an ED representative. Thanks up front, Eries

I just reinstalled DCS after upgrading my hardware. I have the English version of DCS However , when i look at your downloads page for the patches , I just can't seem to make sense of it. Hotfixes from 1.01a to 1.01 b ? But no 1.01a ? No purely 1.01 b patches? A sticky in the forums would be nice to help to clearly explain the process and give simple directions. What do I install over a fresh install of DCS 1.00 ? Thanks - Eries

Re: Alchemy - I thought this was for Vista users only. Re: Defaulting back to onboard sound - Good tip , i'll certainly setup to test just that . - Eries
