So I tried a different training mission in the c101 and it happened on that one too. I tried deleting the C101 and reinstalling it and it still crashes.
Well, I think I fixed it. I ran the memtest86+ built into my mobo and realized I was getting errors on test 8. After googling around I found it might be indicative of under voltage in my ram. After turning on XMP in BIOS my PC passed the memtest and I was able to fly the mission without problem.
