The thing is, is it possible to download the map outside of the Module Manager realm? Like in a torrent? So I can then transfer those files to the DCS PC and let the Module Manager recognize and install them.

I've updated DCS yesterday though my cell data. No problems there. It's the size of the map that I have issues with. An moving my DCS PC is not an option at the moment.

Hello, I'm considering purchasing the Syria map. But Ive been without internet connection for a while now, and there's no hope for it to be corrected in the near future. I do have, on the other hand, internet access through my cellpone data. That way I can join MP servers, activate products, etc, by setting up wifi connection to my PC. I do not have, however, the data or speed necessary to download a module as big as the Syria map. Given that I have another PC with proper internet connection elsewhere, is there a possibility I can download the Syria map, and transferring it to my DCS PC through an external drive, and then use the Module Manager to recognize it and install it in my system? Thanks in advance.

I agree that unless you have VR or TrackIR, you are pretty much handicapped. For example the left CDU's LSKs are difficult to operate, as are the APU Start and Engine cranks.
