Hello, got another Question for you out there who can fly in Team. I have Buddyteam and can somehow hold formation. But in Dogfight how to find your Teammate again?

Hello there, read alost on Doding Missles, dragging them, Notching them and put them on the Beam etc. Read about BFMs and "Energy" in Aircombat. But now i need some special Info. Here is the Setting: You have come to a WVR Fighting (maybe you where suprised, or you thought you could have taken the chances 1:1 and drag into that WVR fight) below 10.000 Feet and you know your Enemy will outturn you and getting onto your 6 :joystick: Fighting Mig29 or Su27 for example How you disengage from this fight without getting shot down? What are the Advantages of the F15C to escape other than Terrain Masking for example? Please share your Maneuvers here. Thx in advance :pilotfly:

Hello there, i got a Problem with DCS. I use TrackHAT Clip and PS3 Camera and everything runs fine. After some Minutes Flying every time i press the Keyboard it makes a "clicking" Sound in DCS but dont respond. I can *click click* but nothing happens. Logitec Joystick still doing as he should no freeze etc. No Alt+Tab working and only thing helps is rebooting my System. Need help! :pilotfly:

Ahh now it makes sense. They where Slow Moving High Altitude. What are those Numbers sometimes Left and Right from that Mark. I had a "1" there last time i looked close on my HDD

Hast du nach dem Starten der Elektronik auf dem Airfield 3 Minuten dein Flugzeug nicht bewegt? Das braucht es nämlich bis sich die Navigationsinstrumente "genullt" haben? Hab nämlich selbes Problem. Bei einem Airstart ist das alles richtig konfiguriert

Okay. I got the S-8 KOM Rocket. But ingame the Rocket feels like a Hollow Charge Warhead without lot of Area effect. What do you think about it? Shjouldn`t it be more leathal against Softtargets?

I read the Manual and im aware of the Diffrent Versions of the Rocket but cant figure out Ingame wich one i use in the Mission i fly. Thats the Problem to me.

Read a bit on Wikipedia and watched the Game Enzeklopedia about the ROcket in the Pods Im a bit confused. I was dissapointed about the Effectivness of the Rocket and wondered what Version is fired from the Hokum. There are very different Versions. The De-Briefing says its a C-8 but i couldnt find any about the Warhead Fired in those Rockets. So what Version is used in the Hokum-A and what Warhead is in there. Watching the Effectivness on Soft Targets it looks like the Hollowcharge Warhead. Thx in advance. Greetz from Germany Taki

Some good advice and some good Reads. But i still got a question: Is it normal at some descent speed and good Trimming that: a) i have those Right Side Lower Rotor Disc almost touching the upper one? b) have the "Little Black Ball" on my Analog Display not pointed in the Middle and drifting over the Ground? I simply dont get the right trimming there. Trim Stick to 30% Front and always have to move it a Tad to the Right. Never to the Left. Stick is well calibrated and working fine! :joystick:

Last 3 Times i tryed to Climb the Kaukasus Mountain to get into Georgia again i always get Rotorintersection. If you look the Helo from Behin i always have the lower Rotordisc going up on the Right side almost touching the Upper Rotordisc. What am i doing wrong? How to avoid that?

Second Try and i did it! Got onto around 4000m and get to that Georgian Arms Industrie. But my Wingman and SU Planes didnt make their Job well. They shot down the Enemy Su Fighters but didnt fight the 2 Incoming MI-24V that shot me down with their AT-6 Spiral in my Face! Was so concentrated to kill that MRLS Systems so i didnt see them :doh:

Got further into the Deployment Campaign. Now im in that Mission where you have to fly a Deep Strike into Georgian Territory. Followed my flightpath and just dont get over the Kaukasus. At 3300m ASL i cant get any higher. How to get over to Georiga?

Yes it was awesome. I gunned them down with the S-8 :joystick: Now i made the Mission where to Kill some Supporttrucks guarded by Zu-23 Emplacments. Mission was Cakewalk. Mi-24 killed some units but i didnt see where. I killed the ZU-23 Emplacments and a Stinger Manpad with VIKHR. After that i turned in from the W of Town to destroy the Remaining Sandbox. 7.76mm Ammorfile Hit me and scratched my Right Engine! My first Wound in Combat. After that on way home i got some Rotordisc Intersection. :( Had to Eject and landed saftey. Anyway Mission sucess. Hope my next Heli is keeping my Luck. Missions get harder? PS: Immersion Feeling is outstanding!

And it gets better and better. Started the Campaign and now flown the Revenge Mission on that Night FARP Attack where i had to flee. Killed the Terrorist Hideout and followed the Terrorist Aera COs car with S8 Rocketpods in a Thrilling Night Hunt down South out of town in the Darkness. Stoped him by Hit infron tof the Car about 4m and it stopped. I waited for 1 Minute so they could came out and raise their Hands but they just shouted "Allah Akbar!" and then i pulled the Trigger gave them another Pair of S8 Rockets in their Theets! :devil_2:

Hello there. I was wondering if i miss it somehow in the Manual or in game or is it missing? There could be more Infos on who are the Insugents that i kill in that Mission and what are their Goals? That would raise my Ingame Immersion. Its a conflict about Oil in the Kaukasus?

Now i started the Campaign. First Mission was really impressive. Nice Sightseeing Tour around the Conflict Area. I expected a Stigner attack and my Flare Dispensers where programmed. ;) Second Mission was immersive too. Found the Ambush Site and killed those 2 Squads. But couldnt do better as another Squad Pops up (a bit unrealistic to me) and shoots a BRDM with 75mm Heat RPG. And a Truck was killed. But still Mission sucess! :pilotfly:

Hello. After 2 Weeks in Full Real Settings, learning Starting Procedure, Weapon and Sensor Basics, Auto Hover and Basic FLight Maneuvers. After lots of Crashing, Rotor Intersection and Trackfile Posting here i am! Learned it the Hard way and the Hokum starts paying back for my Patience! :thumbup: I managed to make the Mission to clear Tchackvelli from Enemy Presence and my Convoi passed undamaged. Killed 2 M2A2, Jeeps, Vulcan and an Infantrysquad and a MANPAD with Canon. 2 Georgian F5 got shot down. Only thing to worry about is a Stinger Hit on my Wingman wich had to make an Emergency Landing :joystick: But im still calling the Mission an Sucess. :) Proud as a Boy can be. thx for your Support and Hints. How do you Find in Full Real those ZU-23? Do you engage them? Please let me now how you would fly the Mission. My Approach was: Get onto 800m and out of Range of the Citys approx. 7-8km. Find the Convoys with Shkval and destroy all AA Assets within the Convoy. Vulcan and SAm Jeep down i go closer and strike with the Canon. Problem i have there are the ZU-23 Guns that gave me some Headache. After 20 Approches i got 18KIA, 2 RTBs 1 with serious Dmg other one undmg. and 1 Convoy destroyed! Getting better with it. But dont know how to find that AA Guns on the Ground from Far away. Hell i need awacs! See ya:pilotfly:
