And i got two more "minor" Questions: 1. How much RPM do i have to make to get a Levelflight? I got Problems with giving gentle Collective. Is there a Indicator on wich i can Look for Engine RPM or so? 2. Forgotten. Will ask later (lol) ahh Remembered.... When i start the Convoy Hunt Mission everything is setup for Startup. And i get RPM Warning and EKRAN Messages per Voice and such things. When i start the Mission "Courier" i have to start all over myself. Am i doing something wrong on Startup?

So i got better and better in this. Actually i try some Missions. Just trying the Same thing over and over again dont give a boost on my Motivation. So im actually trying the Convoy Hunt Mission. It works Fine when i got into a STABLE Position. I start from Airbase and can fly some way and get the Shakval on Target. Its all a Bit Tricky and takes time but it works. I can Fire some VIKHR to destroy the Vulcan and the Avanger and go in Close to kill the Rest of the Convoy but it all dont look like a Real Pilot flying a Fast Mission to destroy an Enemy Convoi. You know what i mean? Problems are: 1. Getting from a Vertical Flight Mode into some Kind of Stable or Slow Hover Mode with Nose Pointed Downward (better for Accuiring Targets for the Shakval). When i get some Kind of Speed and trying get back in Stable Hover MOde without moving to Much my Heli Slings,Rolls,Banks to all Directions and i have est. 2 Minutes to get back into some stable Position. I got the 3 Blue Swithces on but no FD or Autohover. 2. How to Use the Rocket Pods? Where is the Pipper that Show me the right Impact Point? Do i have to Lock and Track Gronudtargets with Laser? 3. I Fly Full Real. How do you get a clue where AntiAir Missle Pads and ZU-23 are? Convoi is "easy" to find. But those other Antiairassets are Horror. Only way i found around is the Wingman to attack those Targets wich he does Fine. But does anyone without TrackIR and HMS Tracking Mode have the Ability to turn and attack any AA-Assets? If so, how do you do? Lots of writing here. Hope some of my Questions are getting answered. I need some Motivation to find back Motivation for taht Great Sim. Right at the Moment i feel like i could never handle the Game with my CyborgX and no TrackIR :cry: Greetz Taki

Thx for your Help m8 I start to understand the KA50 more and more and got a Feel of Homecomming when i get into the Cockpit ;) Last Time i tryed the MIssion i flew to the UAZ and landed half way on the Road 10m infront of it. Trough my HUD i could look the Soldier in the Eyes ;) I cut off engine and pu the Rotorbreaks on. Nothing happend. After 5 Minutes i flew away to the Ship. Man i was proud to make it that far! ;-) I had 15minutes left when i got Vis to the Ships. Then i got Fast around 300 and had Problems with my Stick. in one Second i had tooo much Upward Nose and my Rotors breaked. :joystick: Pushed Ejection but got the Message Pilot dead. :hmm: Falled into the Black Ocean 500m away from the Ships. Anyway. I couldnt even land on them. Only way i can land so far is hovering in Autohovermode. Landing with Vertical Speed and Vortex Ring is far beyond my Flyingskills. :D Not to thing about landing on a Moving Ship in the Black Sea.

So how did i get in there? What to Hover normally? And how to get out? Push Cycling forward to get back some Airspeed?

Thx for the Reply. I tought i postet the Track File. Okay then i do it now. Another Problem occured. I took over Control on the Training Tutorials and everything was Fine for me. Now i got the Feeling thast thoses Missions wherent on Full Real Sim because i got the Hell of Crashes when i start trying to Land. Last Time i tryed i was landing beside the UAZ. But too far away. I started again and was 50m over the Gronud closer to the Heli. Then gently tryed to get down again and the Heli was going down like an Elevator. Gave full speed but it kept going down. Result was a Breaklanding with destroyed Rotors. :doh: My Fault, but what did i wrong. Here is the File from the Mistyerious Inflight Breakdown. I started over again. NOw i flew longer then the Last Time. But same Problem appeared. Now i saved the Track File. No matter but i would have gone down anyway. Fuel was almost out! :music_whistling: Maybe i was doing something wrong? How to activate the outer Tanks?

Problem is reproducable! Last Track only COvers Few Minutes i guess. Have to Save it Next Time. Could it be something related to weather? I got no EKRAN Warning Message at all. Even when i get down.

So far so good. I didnt get the Fault with my Startup but now trying to do the Whole Startup from that File i have seen bevore. Its nice! Thx for all your Help so far. You are a good Community here. Only seen over at Battlefront with the Combat Mission Series. I got Propblems with my Coolie Hat (Cyborg 3D Gold) as the normal Settings for View didnt work and kept my Head Spinning. Now it works better. But i got one thing that is still tickeling me: I knew how to Switch to Mousepointermode Alt+C and in one Mode i can use Mouselook. But Problem is that i cant use these two Modes together wich would be handsome. When i start a Tutorial and take over Control it works for a Short Time then it wont. So i have the MouseControl Yellow Cross-Hair but cant move my Head around by getting to the Borders of the Screen you know? Anyone can help me with that? If i can get a workaround for that i have the Freedom to realy learn the Bird!

Didnt work for me. Found that, tryed it (even bevoer the Hint) but couldnt see s Speed Up Process in Track? :joystick:

What are the Keys for Time Acceleration in Review? Any Hints on how i startup are appreciated. And i got a Problem. When you look in the Trackfile i configure the ABRIS with a Flightplan. But how to get the Waypointinfo in the Hud? Or am i doing something wrong there? Anyway, im proud to get the Hang for the ABRIS now. ;) LastMissionTrack.trk

The Rotors where still turning and they looked intact o-O Where to sent the Trackfile? Or is it really the Rotors get crashed?

X-File7892378: KA-50 Hokum started Mission "Courier". Every System looked normal. No Flightplan in ABRIS so Pilot did one. Easy Way. Coords was CAR and SHIP and RETURN HOME. Pilot started. Direction WP CAR. ALT Around 600m Speed around 250. Suddenly something happend. a big *klonk* sounds like something got rpiied off the Heli and KA-50 goes down. Any Sugesstions what it was? I dont have a Clue! Rotors where working. EKRAN didnt give any Warning even when i was going down! What happened? I can give you the Trackfile if you like to. :joystick:

I got Problems with Autohover and hold the Heli still. I push Enter+RStrg and got that Red Joystick Menu. On that the Rudder is always far to the Left. As longer i fly the More it gets to the Left. Are those Problems relatet with my Cyborg3D Flight Stick? Same with Forgotten Battles long time ago. No matter how much i trimmed. I always had to keep my Hands on the Stick! :joystick:

But i guess its just my Fault. It`s always Pilot Fault. Or did anyone ever get a Failure on LEDs, Engine or anything at Checkup Phase? I just watches some of the Dev Notes and they are awesome. But therein lies one Problem of me. Anyone got a Keyconfig for Saitek 3D to Use that Freelook like in the Videos? I got Problems with Mouselook and Keyboard Look. After i use the Coolie i got Problems using other Modes even when changing Camera Mode with Alt+C :huh: What Configs does the Producers use in thoses Videos when they arent Using TrackIR? I got Problems with it. FIghting the Views not flying the Vec.

Yes pulled it to open Position when Engine RPM is around 2000.

I used spacings in my Post but it didnt work. Sorry for that. Hope this Post is easier to read. Thx for your Help Mates. I figured it out by myself with the Generators. But thx for the Help!:thumbup: Now i got other Problems to solve. :pilotfly: Got Problems with Engine Startup. I use the APU and warm it up, everthing allright. Then Start LEft Engine and it works, runs silently. But the other Rotor is turning? :music_whistling: Somtimes the other Engine starts then and sometimes it gets to 2200RPM and then gets "out" What am i doing wrong? /me is starting to get that Heli up in the Air and try to trim now i guess?

Hello. I just figured out how to start the Engines. Toook me som e LONG Time. And im happy as a Boy can be. They work now! (after 3 Hours of Startpocedure). Now i got 2 Problems with it: 1. I want to test the Engine Ice Dust but i can put the Switch in any Position and i dont get a Message on the Overview Panel. What am i doing wrong? 2. I swtich to external VIew and after that get back in Cockpit with F1. Then i cant use the Mouselook. What did i wrong? How to change that? Same Problem with the LWS. I startet the Power on Back Panel and pushed the Reset Button. Then did the Test, waited 30sec. and nothing happend. Hope for some Answers here. You learned the Hard Way? Share some Tips with me on how to start with this Huge Mountain of Lessons. Greetz from Germany Taki
