Hey there, is there a way to have an AI helicopter just sit on the ground with turning rotors for a certain amount of time? No matter what I try they always immediately take off. thanks, Raffael

Hey there, first of all thanks for the campaign, I really enjoy it! I would like to ask for some tips concerning fuel management, because no matter how strictly I stick to the FP altitudes/speeds, I always seem to be 500-1000 lbs behind schedule, even before the combat part of the missions. Any tips on how to do better? Whats the best way to climb to say FL250 in an F18, slow or as fast as possible? Thanks a lot! Regards, Raffael

Hey there, I have a few self made "training" missions set up, with all the modules I own in it, so that whatever aircraft and procedure I want to practice I just have to load the same mission. Never had problems with that approach, but lately it very often happens that after I pick a slot DCS just freezes and nothing happens. And if it works it takes ages to load me into the cockpit. Never had that issue before, does anybody here see similar things? PS: interestingly, when I start the mission in multiplayer it seems to work just fine...

Some time ago Casmo made a video about FARPs, and in that video he hinted that the Kiowa would come with some mission planer objects like fuel hoses and orange LZ markings. Did anything come of that, will these models be available at some point? Thanks and kind regards, R. Schmidt

I second that statement wholeheartedly!

Hey there, just a quick question, as in the title: would a RTX 3090 be overkill for running DCS (non-VR) in 1440p? Or asked the other way round, would a 3080 suffice? Doing mostly DCS and some P3D, not much else gaming-wise. Your input would be greatly appreciated :) Kind Regards, Raffael

Hey there, I still have this beautiful hardcopy Manual of DCS: BLack Shark in my bookshelf. Unfortunately it's mainly collecting dust now, and I can't bring myself to just throw it away. So, if anyone wants this and covers the shipping cost (sending from the EU), it is yours. First come first serve, just pm me. For full disclusure, this was sold with the original release in 2009 iirc, so it might not be super up to date, but much of the content is still relevant. Kind regards, Raffael

Hey there, Just wanted to ask if there are plans to update the "payware"-campaigns (enemy within, red flag,...) to be usable with the A10C II? Would be great! :) Thanks, Raffael

Hey guys, I am a bi confused about how to save my controller settings into diff files. Core question: di I have to save a diff file for each controller per plane/module? (eg do I have to save my throttle assignments say for the 10c sim into one file and the throttle assignments for the Mig29 into another? or does it save all settings for all modules per device into one file?) Side question: I read to also backup the input config files from ...C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input. Is that just another way of backing up my assignments or do I need these files AND the diff file to restore my controlls say on a new pc or after a reinstall? Thanks!

Hey there, I've been enjoying DCS tremendously for a few years now, what I would really love to see (or rather hear) added are additional pilot voices for added variety. Wingmen, AWACS, other American pilots etc. all sound alike. I noticed that pilots from other NATO countries (eg Spain I think) do have different voice sets - love that. A bit more variety would be great!
