  1. Just tried and mine failed too. Bent the gear.

Picture is from a declass acls manual from 1982 (link:https://web.archive.org/web/20240420151952/https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/ADA118181.pdf ). Page 15.

On the DCS side, Plane does a massive power cut  approx.. 2 seconds before touchdown. Decent rate goes from - 700ft/min to -1000ft/min.

Touchdown point is well before 1. wire and plane skibs all wires.

If only Mode1A is modelled than Bignewy is correct. 🙂

Align INS, set GPS knob on, check TIME Page and wait until it says „GPS System“ on the top line. Once „GPS“ text appears, you can turn on DL and MIDS switches

    Thanks 🙂

DataLink (DL) and Map Power Switch (MAP; top right on the same panel) switches are not in use in Block 50.

If there is a switch to flip, it will get flipped 🙂

Dont turn on Mids before your alignment is complete and your time page shows „GPS“. In some cases, you even have to roll out of the hangar.

So all but Mids is ok to turn on on the right panel and only wait on the Mids ?

What impresses me the most is that 250 out of 250 rounds fired hit that one soldier.

I was very very very close 😄

It's just how Tacview counts hits. If the object flies close enough to another it counts it as the hit, regardless if that happened in DCS or not. It's all an approximation

I will disregard your statement sir... 😉

Kobuleti cross, many a scenario and training session spent here in DCS, the google pin is a homage to the location many of us have flown around for over a decade. 🙂

Thx and for me 2 🙂
