  1. It’s just compressed air. I worked on Nimrods in the RAF for 9 years and they used an APU designed for a car in the 1950s. It was incredibly noisy and would overheat to the point of almost going on fire after 5 mins. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rover_JET1
  2. Up to 20% there is no fuel injected yet and only the low pressure compressor stages are turning. When you move the throttle it injects fuel and it may be simulating the initial combustion which then helps drive the high pressure stages of the engines. Or you could’ve knocked something on your desk! :)
  3. Thanks BIGNEWY, that worked.
  4. Hi All, I’ve auto generated a pinpoint strike mission and the JTAC has been allocated 30.0000000MHz FM frequency. I can change a VHF preset to 30Mhz and it automatically changes to FM. In game, however using easy comms, I contact the JTAC on VHF, it stays greyed out and I get no response. I’ve tried to manually enter the frequency using various combinations of 030, 30, etc, but it doesn’t work. I know there is another thread similar to this, but I think it was about it being set to AM. I’ve attached some pictures to show what I mean. Thanks.
