  1. Hi Folks. First, let me thank MAXstenna for all of his help with me getting VAICOM to overall. Huge help and very much appreciated! BTW, I figured out that I had an issue with my DCS install so I basically uninstalled and reinstalled DCS, VA, and VAICOM Pro. Works like a champ now. One issue I'm seeing, and I'm pretty certain it's my noob mission editor skills (lack thereof) is that when I built an AAR mission to practice, it isn't recognizing the tanker in VAICOM. The tanker is on screen but I can't talk to it. I've manually tuned to the freq from the mission editor and it just goes back and tries to TX on the mission Flight freq. Maybe this question is better suited to a thread around the mission editor but I'm trying to use VAICOM to no avail. One other thing, when I do an interrogate from Crystal Palace (British soccer fan?), it tells me there are no refueling assets in the theatre. If I need to go to a different forum thread for this one, I totally understand. Other than that, loving this tool!
  2. Mats, I've tried this solution 5 or 6 times with no joy. Any other ideas? Can't get rid of the popping menus.
  3. Looking for a little bit of help here. My current DCS path is: "C:\Users\pilot\Saved Games\DCS" and I am still running into DCS stopping loading at 10% when I try to use VA with VAICOM Pro enabled. I've read the comments about the syntax to create the hard link. I can run the mklink command and create a hard link but I'm unclear on what I'm what I'm linking to and what I need to set in VAICOM Pro. As I said in my previous post, not the most proficient in the Windows CMD tool but I can make do. Can you help me out with the specifics on this? I'd like to be able to use VAICOM Pro but it still bricks DCS when I try. I very much appreciate any help from the forum.
  4. DCS is installed in the original drive, no changes. Thanks for the response.
  5. Hey Folks. I'm having the same issue as a couple of other folks where I have DCS OpenBeta installed on the C drive. I updated via the utility to OpenBeta. I was using Voice Attack just fine and then installed VAICOM Pro. Once I went through the steps, I started DCS and it hangs up loading at 10%. I have to kill it, repair it, and then disable VAICOM Pro in VA. Once I do all that, DCS loads fine. I've seen a couple of posts about setting the path, etc. I must confess, my Windows skills are a little rusty (been using a Mac for far too many years now...) so I don't want to mess anything up. I built this machine strictly for DCS. Any help you guys can give? I definitely appreciate it.
