Could you post a link to the profile please? I am probably at the limit of my brain cell count to do this now

Hey ClearDark, one other small request if I may.
When you pass the Export.lua could you please maintain these strings if present
dofile("./Config/Export/TacviewExportDCS.lua")
dofile("./Config/Export/TARSExportA10.lua")
Theres also going to be one for LOTATC but I dont have that at present. Its not a big thing, but it just simplifies the install by another step.

Thats a nuisance, outputted RWR to the second PC would be awesome.

Thanks Shu!
Did you by chance keep a changelog for this update so I can print only the changed/new plates?
Changes included a Global find and replace to correct the format of kHz and MHz
Removal of the ILS for BESLAN on the front table, as although it is in the manual it seems to be the same as Nalchick and incorrect according to feedback.
The laptop is packed away again now so I can do a little flying, but if I get a chance this week I'll update Derelors feedback into it as I doubt I will do another update until they release the Vegas scenery.

Yeah A-5 2 sided is my thought. Still going to cost quite a bit to do but it is going to be a good approach, and take up less desk space.

You need to add a condition for each button, takes quite a while. Have a look at the profile I posted and change the image names if you like to be Tyrixs, which will speed it up. Basically each light is its own button and event.

I've seen Touch buddy profiles for Lockon that export the RWR data and then recreate it so it should be possible. similarly the CMS display should be do-able.
Heres a couple TB profiles with the code for exporting RWR, It would be nice actually, as throwing the RWR onto a seperate viewport doesnt work without ver well without some sort of an overlay, but I dont want to start running HT locally.

You know the thing to remember is you have 95%+ of a real attack jet in this sim, it does more often than not feel like work, oddly enough because it is for some people. I figure the best advice is take your time, have some fun and write notes. It gets easier after a while but even the guys that fly al the time forget the odd thing now and then (One very experienced pilot today remarked about 30 minutes in that he'd left his APU on ) Happens to us all from time to time :)

Very nice outcome, I would be interested how you are finding the play in the throttles, I scratch built a HOTAS once, but could never get the throttles to line up, but I'm thinking your CH throttles are a better starting platform

Sadly enough Im still using the version I last edited with the pen mark up all over them. i haven't had a chance with the computer the file lives on to sit and edit them. Hopefully this coming month things will slow down enough.

64Bit since The final release came out.

According to the new rules you need to post in a thread before you can give rep I believe, but thanks all the same for the positive feedback

I would recommend Apache Dawn by Damien Lewis. Helos rather than Hawgs, but very similar operating environment, and a lot of gear that is relevant when you start flying low.
-
Yeah I posted on this in the HT thread a while back, I believe its a bug. What you find is that is does actually work, it increments and decrements, but it does so by going the long way through so If I increase the frequency from 4 to 5 it does so by going from 3 to 5 rather than 4 to 5.
Same with .01 to .02 It looks like its broken, but its actually just spinning. once it gets there you can increment further.
I've also found that each key stroke seems to equate to a mouse wheel 'click' so it can take more than one press to get an increment to occur. Once you find this its not so bad, but still annoying.

So that said does anyone else find the idea of sniping blacksharks with the 'freaking laser' to make the LWS go off when you're beyond aim9 engagement range to be really humorous.....

I kind of figured that if you were sitting in something like a black shark, the Laser warning indicator is going to start going nuts on an auto lase where there's going to be less warning on a manual. Presumably on a modern battlefield a number of other units are going to have some sort of indication of lasing as well?

Yeah for me with an X-52 it was all about getting the throttle curve I needed below the stiffer part of the throttle which involved moving it to -15. The stick I run at +10-15. Still took about 3 hours of practice to get it right.

Very nice looking panel.
Have a go with these statuses for the lights
LDGR_N_SAFE
LDGR_L_SAFE
LDGR_R_SAFE

Yeah the beuty of this profile is most of it is done in the sim. I could never get the pinky modifier to take so ended up having to map the pinky to RALT and use that as a modifier but past that its relatively simple and painless to use.

Using the ACC.xml with the CDU, I have discovered an error.
On the CDU when you are in the WP page osb L1 and osb R1 are reversed and osb L2 and osb R2 do not function. The osb's in the 3d cockpit work normally?
I discovered this whilst assigning a new waypoint. The assignments are correct in the xml code and in other modes it appears to function correctly?
Its as though the HT guage is not responding to the cockpit settings?
A strange one this?
Theres an issue with some of the keys which the developer of the CDU panel suggested the Devs would fix in an update. i posted a little on it a few pages back essentially the keys that dont work have an attribute of 'pressed' rather than 'down' in the keyboard config file. I posted a little more detail on how to fix that originally, which involves backing up your keyboard input file, making modifications and reimporting.

I did briefly consider dropping flares to try and see if I could set trees on fire when I ran short recently, as I'd read about someone doing it on ops, but alas no joy.

No Prob Warning panel is really cool, I found 3 things wrong with my start up checks from using it on HT. Its also nice to be able to figure out what is going when the Master Caution comes on if you are only running a 22" screen,.

CJ have a look at my profile in this post which has one

Theres also another version a little later in the thread as well

You just edit the config file to only show those instruments that you want to see there
