  1. The "swap axis" checkbox was just the obscure detail I couldn't remember. Thanks. Now I can at least take off and set myself on a straight course again.
  2. That one I found. ;) I tried it both ways and it still does the same thing. I was trimming ok-ish before with the previous install so I must be missing something somewhere.
  3. Thanks for the help. I looked inthe controls section but if there's something in there I need to check or uncheck I can't find it.
  4. I just re-installed BS. I've had it for a while but never got far with it due to control issues and bugs. I'm hoping I'll have better luck with the bugs with Win 7. But the control issues seem even worse for me at the moment. If I start a mission in the air - I think patrol was the one I looked at - I'll point the helicopter in the desired direction and attitude then hit the trim button. The problem is when I do that my stick, which is an MS FFB2, jerks left, and when I release pressure on the stick the helicopter rolls right. I spent ages removing conflicts between input devices and I've exhausted everything I can think of. I have a feeling it's an obscure setting somewhere but I've gone through option so many times I can't think what I must have missed.
  5. Thanks for your reply. Never had a problem of this kind with ROF, or FSX. And it's not all that long since I had the last clean out. After long sessions with ROF the fans are chugging away quite nicely, so I don't think that's it. I'm hesitant to experiment with the video card drivers as it's just BS that has this issue, but I can look at that. The patch is DCS-BS_Patch_1.0.1c_EN.exe, so all present and correct.
  6. Apologies in advance if I missed a solution to this while searching. I've tried two or three missions, but with all of them I find that after a while the graphics just die. The game is still active because I can switch between views and there's an audio change. For example I can start up, taxi, takeoff, and then fly for perhaps thirty minutes and then it just seems to happen randomly. I also have the dreaded BSOD sometimes. The last time I clicked the reset sensor button and it crashed, but that's less of an issue at the moment. As it stands I can't complete a single mission.
