Chaparral missiles are smokeless and almost impossible to see the launch. Also in A10, chaparral launches do not trigger the missile warning system. Basically, no visuals and no warning; they are too deadly.

In both multiplayer and singleplayer, if you choose the tactical commander slot, get in a vehicle which is capable of IR vision and turn the IR vision on-off then leave the vehicle and slot in an aircraft with TGP (A-10CII in my experience), TGP and MAV displays in WHOT/BHOT become bugged and unusable. It's zoomed in, pixelated, blurry, not ground stabilized, slews by itself when you zoom in or out. Attached image is an example of bugged TGP display.
