Yeah - on my xp32 box, version 1.0 runs faster than 1.0.1 patch. bummer too in a way because I wanted all the new media packaged up in the patch :) --Jason

Hi Folks, First let me say I can't believe I got this game for $20.00 at BestBuy! What a deal! So I don't have the fastest rig (dual core, decent nVidia card though) - and version 1.0 ran awesome - but of course I looked for and installed the patch - but the game play SEEMED to get rougher framerate wise... hmm.. so I'm currently done deactivating and uninstalling and now I'm reinstalling v1.0 fresh. Could be my system just needed a reboot - but I'm going to see if the difference is real. Regardless - I'm very impressed so far. Being the "Sim" fan I am - I went right to real flight mode after only a couple flights (Once I saw I could pitch down and not "fly down hill" I knew I had to turn off easy flight model! LOL - Now it's HARD! But that's cool - I'll figure it out. I think the folks who made this game are simply awesome! (I'm a developer myself - and a game hobby coder) so I have a pretty good idea what's involved - Wow - Good Job folks! Well - I'm a pretty busy guy so I don't know how much stick time I'll be able to get in the near future but I can say I'm going to try! This game simply rocks! --Jason
