wow it's working now. turns out all i needed to do was a C++ visual update. cleaned out my entire computer in the process and learned how to look for error messages within programs so i learned something anyway! thank you for the responses.

The temp directory in my blackshark directory is empty.

Hello everyone, I get a run time error with dcs.exe whenever I try to start a mission. I have uninstalled/reinstalled like 8 times with different directories, as administrator, did disk cleanup, removed all un necessary programs, installed the patch, still would not work. This is about 5 seconds after I click "begin" or "fly" or whatever the start button is. It's not just missions it's everything. Instant action, training etc...
