CaptJackG Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I'm a new warthog owner and I've seen past threads about warthog having a problem with usb 3.0. Is that still the case and does it help to go into the bios and change the usb from xhci to ehci. I have a new computer with the ASUS X99 MB and it has 10 usb 3.0 ports. Thanks for any advice.
Nopileus Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Just make sure you don't update the Warthog firmware while connected to the USB3.0 ports (known to fail), normal use shouldn't be a problem at all.

The ASUS X99 boards I have looked at all still have USB 2.0 along the bottom edge of the board.
