andyfoot Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 So I've ordered my new gaming rig (Win 7, 64bit Home Premium, i7 930 2.8Ghz @ 4Ghz, XFX ATI 5850 1Gb, 6Gb Ram) in anticipation for FC2/DCS:BS update; when I re-install BS, is there a simple way to transfer all my saved game/logbook and configuration settings over without having to re-do all my key commands etc. I'm upgrading from Win XP on my Dell XPS M1710 (which I'll keep BS installed on so I can still play when I go away to sea, albiet a slide show at times). It's probably just a drag and drop afair, but not sure if it is that simple and which files to drag over. Another point is, will they all still be valid settings if BS is going to be patched to make it FC2 compatible?
EtherealN Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 C:\Games\BlackShark\Blackshark\data\scripts\logbook\players.lua Save that one, and once BS is installed in the new system, paste it in to the same location. I don't know 100% if there will be any version incompatibilities, but I also know of no reason why there would be. You should be fine with just copying that one over. andyfoot Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 Thanks again, it worked a treat, my logbook and all the campaigns painlessly transferred over. Now I'm enjoying playing the game as it should be on my new rig, and have upgraded to a 24" monitor, what a difference!!
