doveman Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I don't normally use HDR but thought I'd try it the other day. Firstly, I don't really see how it enhances anything as it looks to me like the screens just been smeared with vaseline making the cockpit out of focus, so I'm not sure it's working right anyway (maybe that's what it's meant to do, I think I read that in X-plane the HDR makes the runway and aircraft lights look more real or something like that though). Apart from that though, with HDR on I get these flashing white circles that keep appearing all the time and I'm more concerned about that. I made a video showing them and here's a short one showing a yellow flash at about 3s. sumerion Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 This has been a problem to ATI owners for some time. It don´t bother me so much but it would be nice without the flashing boxes http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=77371 ASUS P7P55D - i5@3.8 - 8GB RAM - ATI6950 2GB - Logitech G940 - TIR 5
doveman Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Ah thanks. I'm running Cat12.6 so I'll have to extract the dlls from 11.6 and put them in the DCS folder so that it uses those, assuming it doesn't make my already poor framerate even worse, otherwise I'll just leave HDR off.
