Mission: DINO CSAR

Coop mission for 3 UH-1H, 3 Mi-8MTV2 and 4 Su-25.

This night a Georgian aircraft went down over eastern Abkhazia. The pilot, call sign DINO, managed to eject. We have contact with DINO over his survival radio set.

 

DINO reported Abkhazian troops in his vicinity and went into hiding. We expect Abkhazian forces attempting to shoot down additional aircraft of any rescue effort or capture DINO.

 

Task:

Locate DINO through his FM survival radio, extract him from hostile territory via helicopter and return him to Senaki-Kolkhi AB. Upon command via F10 radio, DINO will leave his hideout, mark his position with smoke and prepare for extraction. Be prepared that this action will draw Abkhazian troops in the vicinity to DINO's position. Prevent his capture until the pick-up can be completed.

Enemy:

Hostile infantry, APCs, tanks or light AAA possible around the pick-up site. Light AAA expected in bigger Abkhazian cities and along the border river.

This mission is intended to be played as a coop with the participants playing in coordination. The number of aircraft are limited to the number of airframes listed above, map updates are disabled by default. There are no fixed tasks assigned to aircraft, instead the team should take a moment and develop a tactic on their own. The mission area is randomized within a 50x50 km area, so should provide good replayability.
