Just a cosmetic thing, but the Engine RPM numbers seem to be animated a little jerky, and not as smooth as it's common in DCS. All other gauges/needles/numbers are a lot smoother in the Mirage already.

I wonder if it is suppose to be like that? I don't know about the Mirage, but in the RL F-16 and F-117, the gauge do bounce around and you normally check for a range of number (i.e. 62 to 80 idle) as oppose to a specific number. Also when you move the throttle you have to let the RPM, temp, oil, etc stabilize.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

True that. It's just the animation itself, as if it doesn't have the same frame-rate as other gauges. I've seen such "choppy" animation in FSX/P3D, but usually not in DCS... hence the bug report. This could be something carried over from FSX...

Some in-cockpit footage of the real thing during engine startup would be swell. :)

it seems like the unit gauge is rolling fine, but the dozen gauge does not roll fine.

e.g. you're at 80, go slowly up to 90+: you'll see a nice transition from 80 81 82 83 .. 88 89... then when it changes to 90, the 8 will just become a 9 instantly, it seems.

Bump for awareness. Still still seems to be the case. And, even though it's only cosmetic, it does affect the overall finesse of the cockpit gauges. :)
