Nooch Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 When starting on the ramp with a cold and dark aircraft, with the canopy open, turning the oxygen flow knob down makes us hypoxic. This should not happen as we're sitting on the ground and don't need any oxygen supply through the mask. Now let's admit we can get hypoxic on the ground. The strange thing is: the issue always appears when turning the flow knob down even when the OBOGS switch was already on the OFF position at the start of the mission.
