Freeze on coalition screen

On any server, the game freezes on the coalition screen. Clicking anywhere on the screen (or focusing DCS via ALT+TAB) results in either a CTD, "stopped working" Windows message, or display driver crash.

SP and ME load fine.

I have managed to get DCS to throw me a GUI error, by loading a server on a brand new savegames folder. Zip attached.

I am not having this problem with the current release (2.5.2.20785), so it must be something new in the openbeta.

You must know the good old Windows program messages handling.

Insert "application.processmesages" in the CPU intensive cycles.

Not unusual to DCS 2.5 to not responding in select player role screen and other places,

issue exists earlier than 2.5

Crashing again, this time on high-object count servers only.

Still crashing on the latest stable release. This basically means I'm unable to play MP in DCS.

Any fix in sight?

It seems like disabling and reenabling the custom pagefile settings I had fixed the crash. I'll see if it keeps working in the following days and reporting back.

Try disabling automatic management and setting the size manually. Look online for good values, there's a formula I can't recall now.
