luminousplumz Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Hi all. After days of frustration i have managed to fix my dcs. I had the issue where DCS would crash at startup but i could play multiplayer in windowed mode. ************Solution************* Set your desktop resolution to 1024*768 Boot up DCS. You should then get an error msg say missing "pthreadgc2.dll" Go and get the missing file from http://files.filefront.com/pthreadGC2dll/;7674775;/fileinfo.html Copy the file in to your system32 folder and your wow64 folder. Boot up dcs You should now be able to get into the options screen. Adjust your resolution to suit. exit dcs Reset your desktop and you should be good to play single and multiplayer in full screen.. I hope this helps some of you out

Headspace Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I fixed mine by reinstalling XP. It was crashing during some call to Opengl32.dll.
Coffin Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Fixed mine with video-drivers, fixing OpenGL. Good to hear you got it working too. Enjoy and some day we might meet in the virtual skies.:pilotfly:
jdrichard Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I have the Opengl32 problem as well and running on WinXP with a ATI Radeon X1950 Pro card and have tried everything but reloading windows....can't find the disks. So, any other way to fix.
