Panzertard Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) Beta2: Here's a quick list of known issues Incorrect Labels, Country/Side, Plane-Textures + Ghost Aircrafts flying. A problem causes playerlabels, aircraft names, and sides to appear incorrectly. As well as ghost players flying (even under ground). - Appears when someone leaves / crashes and leaves a 'ghost' for the other clients to see. - Workaround: Disconnect from the server, then reconnect. Fixes most of the symptoms, but some may remain. NOTE: To prevent the issue; Please DISCONNECT from a server while being a SPECTATOR. Warping issue, someone connects / or other activities on the server cause a massive warp. Workaround: Disconnect from the server, then reconnect. Fixes most of the symptoms for a client, but may cause warping to appear for others. Helo AI (HAI) may not attack the server host / client in some situations. No workarounds. Unable to login to DCS World MP, may get "incorrect account / serial". ED is aware of the issue and is working to fix the problem. We hope to see it resolved this week. ED Team c0ff Posted May 5, 2012 ED Team Posted May 5, 2012 (edited) in 1.1.2.1 the simulation does not work on Windows XP. Can't find RegGetValueA in Advapi32.dll. No workaround. We'll fix it ASAP. ED Team c0ff Posted September 9, 2012 ED Team Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) Client crash when connecting to Master Server The crash was tracked down to a bug in 3-rd party library, which was triggered by a long list of servers. Unfortunately we can't release a patch quickly. Currently, I tweaked the master server to limit the list of servers to first 38 entries (seems to be a safe number) for a DCS version affected by the issue. Yes, it replaces everyone's crashing with some servers becoming invisible, but that's what we can do right now. Please, post, if the issue occures once again, I'll lower the limit. Thank you. You can Connect by IP to any server a long as either 1) server is in the received master list OR 2) server is in the LAN mode GUI has wrong server mode naming: it's not LAN/Internet, but private/public instead.
