ErichVon Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 (edited) Hi Crunch, I saw no way to setup the mouse to get the Shkval cursor to function in World in Options\Controls\Axis Commands for the CH Products Pro Throttle. I was going to set a few G-keys on my Logitech G510 keyboard, instead, but I did not. http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/showthread.php?7354-DCS-Blackshark-profile-by-Crunch First flight in World, Shkval cursor functions fine. Is this something new within the programming within DCS World? Or have you been creative, yet, again or consulted with the gurus to World? My profile is yours from 2010 unmodified and functions fine, still, in BS1 for FC2 and BS2 for DCS. Thanks. (later edit): ======== There is a difference in DCS World, under Options\Controls\Ku-31 Shkval slew (down, left, right, up) set as presets for the Throttle. Well, actually, the presets are set for all 3 controllers. >>> Nice! Edited November 18, 2012 by ErichVon
104th_Crunch Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 (edited) Hi ErichVon, Yes, there is no more setting within DCS, or FC as well now, to use a mouse for slewing anything. I have good results though by doing the following: 1) Instead of the Ministick controlling the mouse, in CH Manager make the X&Y axes of the Ministick, joystick axes instead ('CM Device 2' for both X&Y). 2) In CH Manager get rid of the curves for the X&Y axes of the Ministick. Make them straight lines. 3) in DCS, do not use a custom 'User Curve' any longer. Just set up X&Y axes of the Ministick like the picture attached. I find the control pretty good now. I also just purchased FC3 and was flying touch 'n goes in the F-15 in DCS World last night. Same problem with the TDC (target designator cursor) in using the radar. In F-15 it does not function. In BS2 for World they put in a workaround under ALL that functions good enough. After trying most of today to figure out what the heck you were trying to tell me, I finally figured it out. Your Device 2 is my Device 1 and I never realized how the CH Products Pro Throttle's mini-stick designated the Mouse for both axis in the CH Control Manager. Now they are designated joystick. Thanks a million for the work around. Crunch you are a life saver. It doesn't really matter, I still die a lot. LOL!
