9.JG27 DavidRed Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 hey guys...the last two days i was thinking about modding my warthog further...for now, i just have an extension for the stick which works perfectly... this way, the center-detent it has, is so much decreased, that it doesnt disturb at all anymore...overall, im really happy with the stick...but i think, i would like it even more, if there was a way, to make the force higher towards the edges of the movement...right now the force you need to apply to move the stick is the same, either close to the center, or on the very edges... if you could somehow make the force increasing the further away you are from center, you would have a better feel, and probably would be able to fly even better and closer on the edges of a planes flight envelope. has anybody thought about this as well already..and even better, has anybody found a solution to his?i opened the warthog and had a look into it, but i didnt find a solution so far. cheers

But there would be no room inside the Warthog's original base to house such a thing with diameters that make a difference. I guess the smaller diameter would be a problem if we use something smaller than the original spring's diameter, so the only way would be to use a larger diameter going outside the bounds of the current housing. edit: Silly me, a constant diameter, variable pitch spring would do the same.
