Bushaman Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Hey Guys. This didnt look normal to me so thought I would ask. I have HDR set to normal, my screen adjusts fro the bloom but the sun just looks really odd. Think I need to do a repair? Thx. Bushaman Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Multi- monitors affects the bright blinding sun effect. Try switching your settings back to single screen and you'll see a normal sun. I never noticed it before someone pointed it out. That's interesting. Sun returned in all its beauty on soIngle monitpr, Thanks for the quick answer. Wonder if folks with mutli monitor setups have found a work around. Tone71 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) Nope. HDR on multi monitor setups doesn't work and I don't think it ever has. Funny, after years of playing I finally just turned it off yesterday; game looks better and runs quicker, should have done it a long time ago. Edit: I should add that it can be made to work by matching your centre viewport to your total resolution but then your view will render across all screens, and your MFCDs will display on top of the game image. As much as I like the HDR effect (on one monitor), especially with PeterP's excellent mod, it's better to just turn it off. Believe me, search "HDR multi monitor", it's been like this for years :( Edited February 2, 2014 by Tone71 Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs.
