Djent33 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Hi I’ve noticed there are trigger options in ME beginning with X: COCKPIT, argument ID, VALUE etc, so I wonder if it’s possible to trigger the control of switches or parameters under specific conditions. I imagine a scenario where I’m flying in a multi crew cockpit and my co-pilot changes a frequency, flicks switches and receives a message on that frequency. At this point I don’t even know if it’s possible, but if it is, how does one identify the cockpit’s IDs and appropriate parameter values? I’d appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

Djent33 Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 Thanks, from that I understand there is a way of obtaining such information Ie systems ID and values, how is it possible to determine when there is no such a list for Mi-8 cockpit? For instance I if you know the arg number and its value to switch something, once in zone, is that indeed possible? Thanks again.
Paganus Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Yes, you can do it in a script. Watch an aircraft autostart sequence. Take a look @ \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Mi-8MTV2\Cockpit\Scripts\clickabledata.lua Edited February 6, 2014 by Paganus more
