MatzWarhog Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Sorry guys... I searched and read just about everything I can, and can't find a solution to my problem. After a taking a break from the A-10C, I set everything back up, am back to flying and retraining the brain all the weapons systems (which I'm learning much more the 2nd time around), but I'm stuck with a likely simple problem. I can use LCtrl+P to turn my position lights on, then the pinky switch works on the Light Panel just like before, but only in the forward and aft positions. Before, setting the pinky switch in the center position turned OFF my position lights, and when switched forward or aft, it would activate them correctly along with the Light Panel, switching back to "center" pinky switch would turn them OFF. Now, it's as if the center position is dead... does nothing. Anyone care to re-align my brain on this one?? :helpsmilie: AMD FX8350 @ 4.2Ghz x 8, Asus M5A99FX Pro UEFI Board, 16Gb RAM @1600Mhz, EVGA GTX660 2Gb DDR5, 120Gig Corsair SSD SATA3 Boot Drive, Dual Corsair SSD FORCE 60Gig for gaming, TM Warthog HOTAS and Cougars, Saitek Proflight Pedals, TrackIR 5 w/Pro Clip, and WAY Too much time on my hands. :pilotfly:
Vortex225 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Have you tested your TM Warthog to verify the pinky switch (PS) if functioning properly (i.e. all three positions register correctly in the device analyzer)? Keep in mind PS forward will set your external lights to a default value, which means the switches on the panel will not affect the actual state of your exterior lights. PS aft will use the settings on the panel.

MatzWarhog Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 I believe this was a brain issue rather than a Sim issue. After flying some, I recall having to use the Light Panel switch when 10 miles out to kill the lights. Maybe just a few extra numb brain cells tonight. If anyone thinks of anything I may be missing, just let me know! Thanks Echo! MatzWarhog Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 Your warthog should get a firmware update as well Checked and saw that, and updated the firmware. Still the center position doesn't turn off the position lights. I could have swore that it did, but as easily as I forget things... I wouldn't bet a dime on it! LOL Thanks USMC_Trev!
