dooom Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I'm having trouble developing a reproduceable set up for a reliable rocket attack. Preferably someone could share their speeds , angles and land marking to employ the sight properly? I'm happy to trade my video on my approach to bombing. It's a repeatable approach that I use to great success... I make no claims about its historical authenticity but I do know it works very well for me. Can someone help me in a similar vein for rockets? Cheers! Zabuzard Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I'm using this for bombs and rockets: It's from the P-47 manual. Be aware that hitting with this things is pretty hard in the game and in real life too. Hence they're rather used agains big targets like buildings and mostly a Mustang doesn't fly alone rather with many Mustang-friends so at least one would hit with his rockets and bombs. 1
dooom Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 That's a great reference and pretty similar to my video above... Although I'm not being concious of the wind as I should be. Maybe I'll try the same approach with rockets and not pull through as far past the cowling...
