As I understand it in order to get a good ccip solution in windy conditions you need to enter the three wind layers into the cdu. This is easy enough with standard weather because the briefing gives you all the info for the wind. But how do you know what to put into the cdu on dynamic weather?

Its all fiction.

I went down this rabbit hole a long time ago. The wind page doesn't do shit for you.

A more productive use of your time would be to learn the bombing triangle and the essentials of how to correctly deliver weapons via CCIP. There are a few long threads about this.

Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.

We just came last week to this problem. So I did three test runs with 4 MK82 in CCRP mode out of 13000 ft AGL. The target approach was exactly the same from east to west in all tests. I tried to follow the ASL as exact as possible. The attached file contains three text files containing the bomb scores for each run and a JPG showing the impact locations as result. If someone has an explanation for the results (except, that I am the worst pilot around), please post.
