BrzI Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) Can somebody very simply state the locations and file names that need to be deleted so that I can start with a new blank/default key assignment ? I understand the concept but I am not familiar with the folder structure.... I presume that C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS\Input folder needs to be deleted. Can somebody please confirm ? Thanks in advance:helpsmilie: Edited February 22, 2014 by BrzI
Sephki Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) The path is mostly correct. Try: %username%\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input I recommend you copy the directory elsewhere as a back up just in case, alternatively you could rename the "Input" folder itself to something else (like "InputBackup"), achieving a similar result. You could also erase the folder(s) inside the Input folder that are relevant to the specific aircraft you want a new profile for. DCS will automatically create the missing profiles for you. Home Fries Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) It's actually c:\users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\%aircraft%. and you should only need to update your FC3/Su-25T profiles (there was a minor change to the P-51, but it was only a debug command). Just delete the keyboard and joystick folders from each %aircraft% folder to restart. If you have a complicated setup and you would rather do the changes by hand, take a look at my post at Combatsim.com. The changes aren't that hard; they just affect things you're likely to use all the time, so they're important. EDIT: Doh! Sephki beat me to the path.
