ZQuickSilverZ Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I said this on 05-04-2012 (#16), in a thread called DCS World and FC3. I can not quote it because the thread is locked. I'm a bit confused why we have to have LOMAC (released in 2005 mind you) to install FC3 which is a totally different graphics engine. Why would I have to install a non compatible seven year old game to play FC3? I am just asking what is the mentality behind that? Does it have something to do with an agreement with Ubisoft? I just can not understand why you would need a seven year old piece of software to install a non compatible new piece of software. I am glad to see progress was made on this. I wish it had been made BEFORE the A-10A and Su25A stand alone products were released. I might have bought FC3 instead of just A-10A. I need, I need, I need... What about my wants? "I've seen steering wheels / arcade sticks / flight sticks for over a hundred dollars; why be surprised at a 150 dollar item that includes the complexities of this controller?! It has BLINKY LIGHTS!!" author unknown. These titles are listed in the chronological order I purchased them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Rincevent Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 You almost answered your question. Some assets were still the property of Ubisoft. Anyway, you must have missed Wags announcement here : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=119545 and the part that says that Lock-On is no longer a requirement.
