  1. So I went to the shop to buy the Normandy 2.0 map and it showed at 14.99 $ as I already own Normandy 1. However the shop tells me I already own a licence for this product, and if I review my active licences, it shows Normandy 2.0 as active and bought in 2018 (wich is of course the date of purchase of the Normandy 1.0 map). Is that normal ? Should I proceed with the payment ?
  2. Thank you so much ! This has been most helpfull. The licence check worked and the key is now correctly bound to my account. Downloading now !
  3. Thank you. Just checked that and it doesn't appear. However I just found the mail form leatherneck dating september 2014 with the key in it. Is there anyway I can activate the product by typing the key somewhere ?
  4. Thank you for the reply. That is what I did, and neither ED's website nor the DCS app shows the Mig 21 as a purchased product. Here is my indiegogo page showing the contribution. As far as I remember in 2015 the Mig 21 was active on my account and I played largely with it but cannot find it anywhere now. My DCS install is a fresh one.
  5. Hi ! Not sure it is the right place to ask, so sorry if not the case. I just returned to DCS from a long break (too long) and noticed I couldn't find my activation key for the MIG-21 anywhere. I was part of the original Indiegogo campaign. I noticed Leatherneck split into different entities. Is there a way I could retreive my key or do I have to buy it again ?
  6. First Rafale tagged with the 2/4 Lafayette squadron insignia you will all recognize
  7. Hum ok thanks. It seems to be lacking the second set of fins though, the ones that move and direct the missile.
  8. Isn't that missile fixed backwards ? :joystick:
  9. I love his work (my nickname is the French for Rincewind), we have lost a great author. I read every single book he wrote. He got me into learning english when I was younger (him and Magic The Gathering cards:P) R.I.P

It is comforting to see I am not alone. I really don't know how he got to act in some of the biggest Hollywood block-busters. He really has no acting talent, no presence, no charisma, nothing. On the movie itself, it was decent, some nicely done combat scenes but nothing too fancy either. The plot was rather shallow. And the ending was, well, Hollywood-style. One tank crew versus what, 60-80 German soldiers. I should watch it again just to count the number of bullets the crew expands on these Germans. All in all, it served it's purpose, entertaining you for an hour and a half but did not went beyond and won't stay in the memories.
  11. Absolutely not true. It is not used to designate plane models or so but has a common use in everyday conversations. French people use bis as a mean to say "the second one" or "the next one". The BIS button on phones is used to call the last dialed number. It is also part of an expression that comes from latin : bis repetita, which means you'll do the same thing all over again.
  12. For additional material, here is a nice page (French language, sorry) rich of photographs, markings and so : http://albindenis.free.fr/Site_escadrille/escadrille124Lafayette.htm The 2/4 Lafayette squadron is still active today in French Air Force and is the direct sucessor of the original N124 squadron of WWI. They fly the Mirage 2000N K3 and are part of the French nuclear deterrence forces.
  13. Going along pretty well, I'm eager to see the final result
