CA Laser designating and Laser Warning systems

Hi,

 

I was playing JTAC in CA and was laser marking targets to get range or coordinates and that made me wonder...Would some of the better equipped vehicles detect my laser and open fire in the real world ?

 

I had a quick google search and found some information on BEA Systems website:

"All of BAE Systems’ LWS solutions detect and report laser-guided and aided threats well outside of their lethal range. These threats include laser range finders and designators in all of the company’s solutions, and laser beam rider missile systems in its more advanced systems."
