karambiatos Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I found this nifty little file in DCS where you can change how fast your shkval slews around, and made it go faster, in the same file you can easily change the speed at which the shkval slews when using an axis. the file is JGSME ready.Shkval_Mod.rar A 1000 flights, a 1000 crashes, perfect record. =&arrFilter_pf[gameversion]=&arrFilter_pf[filelang]=&arrFilter_pf[aircraft]=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC"] Check out my random mods and things
Devrim Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Thanks Karambiatos. I tried something on these values before and managed, but I've found it useless a little bit. Because, it became harder to slew Shkval camera in very narrow (close) distances. Skval moved fast with my little touch to joystick hat. In this mod, is there this issue, or it's fine to you? Thanks. karambiatos Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) I played around with values for a bit, and found that a slew acceleration of 9 while leaving slew velocity base at the default value, is good for most people. Putting the slew velocity any higher makes slewing the shkval a complete mess. Its still fast, but with a bit of practice, it becomes much more enjoyable and barely any precision is lost, it also saves your POVs micro buttons :) Of course if you dont like it you can easily change it by lowering the value on the slew acceleration, anything between 2(the default value) and 9 is good, i dont recommend changing the slew velocity.
