There is the way to help you fly your campaign, and use save campaign mission option - save the current progress

 

1. You can fly any misson in campaign, and if you fail save the reply.

2. Open reply, fast forward to the point just before you died, and take control

3. You can then finish the mission. But after you get mission success, your campaign isn't saved and you can't progress.

4. You then have to manually edit logbook.lua (located in your saved games\DCS\Mission Editor folder). You can edit file so that you add your aa/ag kills for that specific mission, success rate set to 100%, and change the stage number and file name of the mission that was last played to the one that should be next.

5. Continue the campaign, and you will be in the next stage of your campaign, with your score updated
