sobe Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I have programed my TM WH for BS2 directly in the game without using Target so a file was created that ended with the new diff extension. However, several times when I booted up BS2, some of the joystick assignments would disappear or change or be duplicated or moved to my CH Throttle quadrant or pedals. To stop this from happening, I did what I do in BMS and made the diff file a read-only file. So far everything is working and no changes are appearing. My question is-is there any downside to doing this? Trackir4 using the latest Trackir 5 software, Win10 Pro [Creator Update] updated from Win7Pro Pro 64Bit, Intel® Core™ i5-2500 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA115 , GigaByte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 16GB Ram, GTX MSI Gaming 1060 [6 GB] Video Card, Main Monitor 1 on left 1920x1080 Touchscreen Monitor 2 on right 1920x1080 .
Flagrum Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 The downside is that you can not change your assignments in-game as long as the file is r/o. And the other downside might be, that that is only working on the symptoms. The real problem - a bug in my eyes, why the assignments get mixed up every now and then, remains unsolved.
