Pinefang Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Are the saved games folders used so that updates don't remove installed mods? If so that means they are safe from change when updates are issued, correct.
Sorin Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Some mods can be done in the "Saved Games" and they will survive any updates. This is a good design.
Pinefang Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Yes good design, glad my mods are unaffected. Thanks for your answer.
Flagrum Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Are the saved games folders used so that updates don't remove installed mods? If so that means they are safe from change when updates are issued, correct. Ahh ... ermm ... uhm ... no.
Devrim Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 With every update, your mod(s) (installed in Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World folder) may be out of order. But, DCS's updating manner will weed your files out and gather them in a folder (located in game folder) that you can see, examine and restore your files again (only if they're still compatible with new version).
