VTJS17_Fire Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Hi Team of the 10th Gunfighters, I - or we in the VJS-161 - like your GND and VAD charts very much. But in our last training, we observed a difference in your charts and DCS. Airport: Sukhumi-Babushara Issue: taxi way "D" See the picture below for your chart and taxi way "D", it's the second from the South-East. The second picture shows the ingame taxi way designation "D", as far as I understand these. It's the third T/W from the South-East. That taxi way is in your chart T/W "C". In the third picture, I've made a screenshot with your taxi way "D", which is ingame "E". Q: Could you check this (and maybe other Airbases) or are there already updated charts? Charts: Version 3.6.0. DCS Version: 1.2.8.27915 kind regards, Fire PS: If the longer taxi ways called "N" and "S" in your charts, what are the correct spelling pronunciation? "N" for North ("S" = South?) or just November? Schleudi Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 (edited) Hi VJS161 Fire Some in game TWY designations unfortunately make no sense and are confusing... ;) Please note the general information on page 3. Some runway designations were also adjusted to meet the mentioned variation. The taxiway names have also been revised and do not match the in game TWY designations. This was done to achieve a greater realism and to enable the support for human controlled ATC procedures.- PS: If the longer taxi ways called "N" and "S" in your charts, what are the correct spelling pronunciation? "N" for North ("S" = South?) or just November? N = "November" S = "Sierra" The letters do not always go consistent with the direction. That depends entirely on the airfield and the procedure. regards Schleudi edit: Each air traffic controller is a little dictator in his world. He will tell you exactly what he wants to hear from you... :D Edited July 11, 2014 by Schleudi [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://ariescon.com Aries YouTube channel
