kefuddle Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I sent him a vikhr out of respect for the three smokers he threw at my No. 2. Flat on his back for the remainder of the mission! I find with the cannon, I often need to unlock and re-lock a target to get the rounds to fall accurately.
ShuRugal Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Smack him with a vikhr. sometimes infantry units die without falling down. Had this happen with that guy as well. If you vikhr him and he's still standing, you know he wont shoot.

Exorcet Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I've seen this too. I dropped a truck load of bombs, a Maverick, and gunfire from an A-10 trying to kill a MANPAD that didn't seem to die. Turns out he was dead, but it was never reported in the mission log and he never fell down. Infantry was not affected. Must be a bug. Boomer20 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I had a similar problem in the Su-25T, i fired a laser guided missile (cant remember which one) in between the the MANPAD and the comm guy, the comm guy died but the MANPAD survived, a very direct shoot however put him on his feet which made me think that to kill a MANPAD you need to hit it spot on and that shockwaves do effect them.
