anjet Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Dear forum users, does anyone know how to get rid of this texture issue I have. It's present on all modules, the screenshot is form F86 module. This wasn't always present but I can't recall when it started looking like this.
theGozr Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) Please do a "repair DCS World" first and try again.. if it doesn t change we should know what GPU do you have and settings Edited August 5, 2014 by theGozr Fly it like you stole it..
anjet Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 "Repair DCS World" didn't do any changes, I still have the same looking flames. My GPU is GTX770 4GB, driver version 337.88. Where applicable, the setting in the driver is "use 3d application setting". Actually I can't remember ever touching driver settings. As for DCS graphics, I attached the print-screen.
theGozr Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Just by curiosity for performance wise .. MSAA at 2 with TSSAA ON/ or MSAA 4 and TSSAA OFF 1024 not every fame water medium. Now did you setup your Sim into your Nvidia control panel ? It maybe be there that it need to be set Fly it like you stole it..
anjet Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) Not really sure what you meant with those settings? Is it your suggestion? I must admit I'm not sure what exactly is the impact on graphic performance on them but they work fine framerate-wise. In the nvdia panel I put all settings to nvida recommended for dcs.exe. Just made a clean instal of nvidia 340.52 driver. Still no joy. Edited August 5, 2014 by anjet update information
theGozr Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Yes a suggestion and still good looking :) Haa! I have AMD so I do not have Nvidia panel but I'm sure someone with Nvidia could show some settings. 1 Fly it like you stole it..
blue 22 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 its the same for the rocket pods the texture is not right and it has to do with the recent 1.2.9 patch, there are a lot of players experiencing these problems.
