Tumbleweed Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) Here ya go guys, takin it old school ! Brilliant... Lately, I've been watching lots of stuff relating to flying the Pony IRL for any hints and tips  Any combat training vids would be good too - I could really use all the help I can get LOL :joystick: Hmmm... 7 degrees rudder trim on takeoff... Interesting. I've been trimming the ailerons so as to compensate the torque reaction of the plane wanting to bank / roll to the left when taking off. I trim the ailerons and add in a tiny amount of elevator (nose up) trim prior to take off. I do still get the plane trying to pull to the left when barreling down the runway but it's only a very slight amount which I compensate for by hand with a tiny bit of rudder input. Might have to give the recommended way a shot and see how it fairs. Now to find a spare button to bind rudder trim...... :D Edited August 18, 2014 by Tumbleweed My Hangar: P-51D Mustang - KA-50 Blackshark - A-10C Warthog - F-86F Sabre - FC3 - Combined Arms - UH-1H My Flying Adventures: www.dcs-pilot.com :pilotfly:
