Hook47 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Hey guys I have searched the web and the forum for apps like IControl DCS virtual controller which I use every time I fire up the A-10. I love this app and I really hope it will see ongoing support and functionality going forward. It literally makes it so my hands never have to touch the mouse or keyboard on nearly every A-10 flight (along with the help of the Warthog HOTAS). Does anyone know of an app like this for any other aircraft? I own them all, and I have to admit I would LOVE something like this for the KA-50. I have found one or two but they seem to be totally dead, which sucks. I love the KA-50 and it's still one of my top aircraft to fly.
skarden Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Hey mate, I have Icontrol for the A-10 as well and your right its fantastic, they're are a few options there man, most take some level of tweaking to get working, some more then others. Personally I've started using the Roccat power-grid for both the prop planes in DCS and flaming cliffs and I find it to be really good, you don't get a visual copy of the controls themselves on the device your using but it works very well all the same, it made for smart phones but I'm using it on my iPad with no troubles at all, you'll have to set it up to how you want it but that will only take one session of flying and figuring out where you want everything on the device your using, it has some limitation like you only get two custom panels then you have to buy them after that for a dollar or two, pretty cheap I think considering how much easier it makes flying for me but it's a personal taste thing I guess, here's the link http://power-grid.roccat.org/en/Store/Grids/ If your chasing something like Icontrol he's something I found for the KA-50 in my search but haven't had a chance to try it myself, it looks like it takes a bit more to set up but is closer to having the actual controls at hand, here's the link anyway mate enjoy http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=80303 Intel Core i9-10850K ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming motherboard Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 3080 Master 32 GB Corsair Vengeance LED 3000MHz DDR4 Thrustmaster Warthog/ HP Reverb G2
TomCom03 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Hi, im using Power grid in more and more apps and because of the lack of preset grids for dcs modules i currently tried to create my own for them. All works well till i try to make shortcut-buttons for the RCtrl - Commands (e,g, Right Engine start RCtl + Home). Even in macro setup they are not working / registered by the application. Has someone some hint on that? PS. I'm not willing to change the ingame key-mapping to avoid double configuration in the future.

Struggling with the same issues here, m8... :( A promising software indeed, but not just working at the moment. Hope they do get the bugs out of it. - With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. - "Upside-down shuttlecock of death" SU-27 as described by Sgt Baker
